Mushroom gravy? ...
Mushroom gravy? While interesting for Vegetarians, a TRUE Quebec Poutine is made with thick brown beef gravy OR BBQ Chicken gravy - there is nothing better than stopping at a Pataterie or Casse-croute and getting a good poutine! For Montrealers, there's nothing better than stopping at LaFleurs or La Banquise for an after-hours poutine! And don't get me started on the smoked meat! LOL! PS - Montreal bagels are still better than New York's... Just sayin...

I just wanted to say that I'm getting used to the new people, but Alex was special. I never would have subscribed to this channel or even probably watched any of this, but I got hooked on her. I don't know what it is. I don't cook or live in NY, and I can't eat half the things you show. I love it. Just wanted to say that. Boom.

in montreal the poutine had chicken gravey, drenched in gravy and cheese, and so incredibly awesome no other food will do that day, ive had it here its ok but doesent compare to the origina in Montreal

NONONO, this is not ...
NONONO, this is not Poutine.. Gah, mushroom gravy?? Not in Quebec. Melt the cheese more and add more BEEF gravy and you have a Poutine. It does look ok, but srsly, it's not the real thing. Antoine's or La Belle Provence in Mtl is the best.

thats sad. cheese should be melted more.. skimping on the gravy?.... as you suggested, it should be a mess, the fact that your eating with your hand... goat's cheese works better imo, don't find it served very often though. all these great videos then the ONE video with something Canadian and it's a flop.. :\ sorry chow, but DON'T GO TO NEW YORK TO FIND "the best" POUTINE! thats like going to Germany for "the best pizza!"
