I really liked ...
I really liked this movie but here is my take. The Mortician (Liam Neeson) was a creepy murderer who kept Anna alive. When she was reviving he injected her with the hydronium to give her vitals all of the signs of death. It's too bad that this film didn't have a good ending. I was hoping that Anna would escape and return to her life. Just a depressing ending! I hope there is a part 2 with a better ending!

im sure you know how many levels this movie operates on, he even knows when someone is about to die , even the kid with the sick chick(buried it alive,remember). remeber the van honking at her when she was driving it was a warning.he told the fiance you dont have much time meaning he was gonna die as well, but any way he went over and above for this dead girl. she was unhappy without love/fiance in death and fiance was unhappy in life without her love.shows love transends death. too many concpts

P.S. remember the scene where Liam was arguing with the other corpse ? yea, this movie can be understood in 2 ways 1: she was alive and the coroner kept here ,,sedated,, whenever the people came to see her thus at the end she was buried alive OR 2: she was dead and the coroner had the ability to take/animate the dead thus talking and letting her move. the second is the correct one since HE SUCKED THE BLOOD OUT OF HER :)) if it weren't for that scene then the first one could've been real

she was A DEAD PERSON CLINGING TO LIFE AND Liam HAD THE ABILITY TO TALK/REVIVE THE DEAD. even if she got away from him she was DEAD, there was no heartbeat and no blood inside her body, she was only alive because of the coroners GIFT that at the end it shows that the KID had it too.

i understand it perfectly: she died, the coroner (Liam Nelson) has the gift of talking/listening to the dead. He also said that the girl was special thus that's why she could ,,move and breathe,, even though she was dead. The character Liam Nelson had the ,,ability,, to ,,revive,, the dead but not completely (he could only let them think and move not live), the body was still decomposing even though she was ,,alive,,, there was no heartbeat (something ike a zombie but without the hunger :)) ).
