true, but the only reasons i bought the mac was because of the design and you know the mac is always a better computer for mixing music. They have programs like garageband which is a really good program that comes with the mac and Logic which is a fantastic music mixing program. But i hate the discussion between mac and pc. Buy the computer that fit the thing you want to do!

Excellent, top notch hardware? Hardly. In fact, Apple's hardware configs are still almost 3 years out of date. Generic RAM, substandard video cards and generic quad-cores aren't going to cut it. Not when the industry has moved on. When Apple stops putting cheap Hynix RAM into their systems, I might take notice. You can race a Ferrari against a Mustang Shelby Cobra all you want. The Ferrari may look prettier, but it's going to come in dead last against that Cobra.

To people who say PCs are better because of the fact that they can run games...it's not the PC that runs games, it's the OPERATING SYSTEM. The best combo for PC (Windows) enthusiasts is a Mac (hardware), while Bootcamping with Windows. You get excellent, top-notch hardware, while still keeping your favorite operating system. Heck, you might even convert to OSX if you use it enough (besides for gaming, of course!) =D

Well I like both mac and pc but when was the last time you seen a pc that was built in 2007 sell for $1000 used on eBay????? Never.. why because the 2007 pc 1 fell apart 2 is slow from viruses and adware or maybe because its ugly compared to the next new pc just around the corner. Ive seen plenty of used macbook pros going anywhere from $650 to over a grand from 2006-2007.. Is a mac for gaming? yup sure is using "Bootcamp" and if you use two hard drives one for mac one for windows your golden.
