Like everyone else was saying, One Piece starts off slow and goofy but they have serious moments in it too that just leave you speechless. Obviously, my opinion is extremely biased but if you'd like I could give you the links of a few of my favorite amv's just to get you pumped for the rest of the series.

"Villains are pathetic" - How do you know when judged off 11 Episodes and you have only Buggy the Clown who cannot even be classed as a villain, and NOWHERE near a threat to anything. Then you come on this Video trying "judge" when it is over five hundred episodes in and don't understand anything about the pacifista, honestly shut up.

oi man, your really making a big mistake, One Piece is actually one of the best Animes i've ever watched. Its character development is amazing, seeing them progress through their journey is heaps of fun. Don't watch clips on YT there shit. You need to get to know the characters, oi trust me, this is an amazing anime. The villains do improve, alot. It really fucks me off how you can say that OP is shit from YT clips. trust me, watch it. You won't regret it. :D

Bobo, Buggy, Bubba, ...
Bobo, Buggy, Bubba, Beelezebub, who cares, he still ranks atop my list of dumbest anime villains I've ever watched. And judging from this clip the villains don't improve much as the show goes on. The fact that the anime came out 10 years ago makes no difference. Anime like DBZ and Ninja Scroll are old as hell and have dated animation but they are still way better than what OP has shown so far. I plan on continuing to watch but my interest level has dropped. But I will keep an open mind.

first 11 episode of course the animanion suck because these episodes were made 10 + years ago and you said Bobo the clown,is buggy and it was a nice starting as a villain...If you start asking american about one piece you will know is pretty popular in U.S as well but keep watching and you'll see that everything is getting better...Is the best anime/manga in Japan

I've watched the ...
I've watched the first 11 eps and nothing grabs me. Characters are ok, villains are pathetic, animation is ugly as hell, but the story is kinda interesting. With other long shonen anime they at least don't take forever to reach their first arc, where as this show takes like 30 eps. That was a bad idea. Oh, and starting a show with a villain as dumb as Bobo the pirate clown is an embarrassment. I now fully understand why OP never got popular in the U.S.
