In the prequel ...
In the prequel episode(Titled "GO!"), A crook says, "Aren't you supposed to be with..." then Robin cuts him off. And he also tells slade, "I already haave a father" when he was his apprentice. It's not direct, but that's as close to a Batman reference as your gonna get. Also Beast Boy and Cyborg both mention Gotham City in a couple of different episodes.

i like the cartoon ...
i like the cartoon better than the comics, honestly. maybe it's only me, but i'm not totally sure why, although, the comics go into much better depth then the cartoon, there's just something about the cartoon that i love, but imo. But, it's kind of hard to compair the two together in an unbias way. the cartoon and the comics are shockingly different, i mean look at jynx's design, completetly different than the cartoon, but that's only one of many ways they're different.

I remember my childhood friend's nephew would watch this show everyday....buy the DVD's...own all the seasons.....obtain all the toys....and he was only 5. -.- Now, I'M watching this show...almost every night....and sing to this theme song....even when it is in Japanese.....this show...is amazing. Hands down.
