I've only had mine lock up twice...and if it doesn't seem to unlock or switch off, home and sleep/wake.. Not saying you haven't tried, but turning it off (via the above) and back on a little later has fixed it for me... Otherwise, pretty much trouble free for me :D

I would not get an iphone since I hate their carrier. Besides there are Iphone clones on better networks like the sprint insinct. The google android can not be classified as an iphone clone because you get a keyboard, replacible battery, open source applications, expandable memory, and tmobile.(I do find their service better than at&t. with at&t I get dropped calls. The iphone is still a phone so i care about the carrier.) It just comes to show how people fall for flashy bullshit.
