Metallica - For Whom the Bell Tolls (music video)

The video contains video clips from "Cliff 'em All" and "For Whom the Bell Tolls" (1943 film based on the novel by Ernest Hemmingway). Instrument timings may be off because Metallica played at a higher tempo live than their original track. For everybody's information, there is no real music video for this song. The video was made to heal boredom. R.I.P. Cliff Burton. The video is also uploaded to myspace. http://vids.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=vids.individual&videoid=1620072089

yes thats partially true, American university instructor of Spanish language and a specialist in demolitions and explosives. he is in the International Brigades and he is assigned to blow up a bridge during an attack on the city of Segovia

Robert Jordan wasn't a mercenary, he was a Spanish teacher who was also a communist, which is why he volunteered for the international brigades to fight the fascists.

umm it was from an old old movie made back in 1943 it was called (you guessed it) for whom the bell tolls. that movie was based on a novel by Ernest Hemmingway. the movie was about an American Mercenary during the Spanish Civil-war that has to blow up a specific Bridge to help the rebels. hope that clears it up =D
