If you want to know who played what on Beatles songs, go to the Beatles Bible website, and yes they weren't quite as popular as Jesus.... Most lead guitar was indeed done by Harrison. Mac sometimes also played lead, as did Lennon. George brought in Clapton for the solo on While My Guitar Glently Weeps. That is the only solo Eric ever played for The Beatles.
