Nude Festival - Japan
February 2006 For most of the year, Kounoniya is a peaceful place. But in winter, religious ritual joins with drunken delirium to create one of Japan's most extraordinary sights -- the Nude Festival. In temperatures close to zero, a designated 'Spirit Man' is stripped and beaten by the crowd. The ritual, which dates back over a thousand years, is meant to absorb the city's punishment and brings good luck. As one participant admits: "It's more important than my wife."

Actually, we are genetically more similar to Chinese, Koreans, Thai, etc. than caucasians. But according the servey, there are big difference between Chinese and Japanese. For example, YAP gene.

Btw, im not against any of you asians, or japanse to be specific, but the way you speak of other race of asian people sounds negative. Do you have something against them? Im sorry but you gotta leave the past behind. Alot of asian adults hold a strong grudge about what happen in WW2, hating on each other isnt going to help change the future. Its just dragging things behind. It also seems Japan is the only country or so have they been shown, educating their children the wrong way about WW2.

What??? STAINILIIEY, why do you think we are educating our children the wrong way about WW2? We are teaching what we did in China and Korea in WW2. See our textbooks with own your eyes. Do not be deceived by conventional propaganda that Japanese education is false and distorted. By the way, chinese and koreans do not teach the fact that they invaded and killed Japanese together with mongolians in Japan in the 13th century.

The way we speak of other race of asian people is not negative. I personally have something against Chinese and Koreans because they believe lies about the japanese war crimes, for example, 300 thousand massacre at Nanjin, which is outrageous. To kill 5000 ppl a day for two months without break is impossible. What Chinese and Koreans are taught at their school is false propaganda not truth, so I am against them.
