SVU came out in 99, ...
SVU came out in 99, there is a crossover with Law & Order and the district attorney is played by Steven Hill. Criminal Intent came out in 01 and by then Nora Lewin was the District Attorney who appeared in the pilot. To bad NBC didn't Trial By Jury a chance. It was actually pretty good. I believe in a conspiracy that NBC wanted to get rid of the other Law & Orders and only have SVU.

I agree. I really don't like CSI and NCIS as much. The comedy and the whole fashion models as scientists as cops thing is kinda annoying. Thank God for the Gil Grissom years. Same goes for Mark Harmon and David Caruso. If i watch those shows it's because I like those actors. What they need to do is get WIlliam Petersen in a role like his Will Graham role from Manhunter, but he won't do anything like that again. Shows how the reality of the criminal mind really affects even the veteran of actors.

Was Criminal Intent ...
Was Criminal Intent the second spin off or was it SVU? I could have sworn that SVU was the 3rd of the L&O spinoffs. All of them are excellent, except, for LOLA. Hwy, if I am wrong I am wrong..I just would like to get it right...thanks :-)

Perfect Wording...this is a badass intro...I love it too! I think this was their accidental best show...I believe that the original Law and Order didn't think that this second spinoff was going to be as hot as it became!

GOREN IS THE BEST! ...
GOREN IS THE BEST! I hated it when he left...he was the most creative and the brightest detective. Yes in that order as well, Briscoe, and Benson. Stabler is too freaked out. Oh btw..I like THIS version of the intro as well and it fits Goren's character...like he's the cool one and the THIS version ebbs with his role. Thank you for the upload and for keeping it going!

CSI is ...
CSI is understandable, as it's basically yelling "THIS IS UNREAL!". NCIS on the other hand, not so much. It blends comedy here and there on it, ON PURPOSE. It's more unique than a show like L&O where it only provides a perspective from average detectives on semi-average cases. NCIS goes a step higher onto a bureau that barely anyone has ever heard of. Either way, in reality, there aren't as common as major cases, nor as common as marine-killing-another-marine-or-whatever.

I hate the dress code on that show. And whats with the cop younger profiler with the revolver? FBI use standard issued Glocks and or Sigs i believe. Good show but I think FBI agents should wear suits.

well that's your choice. I like that he's the kind of cop who's true blue. I just think he should've stuck to suits though. I hated how it was getting as if only Lupo and Bernard from Law & Order were the only ones wearing suits after Logan left CI. It's just kinda wierd with all these shows becoming modern Miami Vices and showing Agents and Detectives dressing casually. Only Narcs are supposed to.

Not really. I liked it. It did well for a mid season starter. NBC promised Wolf they were going to bring it back but they canceled it instead. It was the most unique out of all the shows and the only one with very little police interaction, which is kinda of a downer, but the Law stuff makes up for it. It was a smart show kinda like Criminal Intent. thats why very few peopled liked it.
