Koop is cool group and I respect that they are influenced by the great 60's lounge sound, but Alexandra has a point... as hard as you try you can only parody that great sound (Combustible Edison are another e.g.). Still good though.

Dear appaino: No, it's based on sound samples from old records. (the background, not the vocals). Those samples are processed with a computer and puzzled together into new songs, making something old sound new. Since technology has brought this new technique this might be as modern as it gets. It's not retro since it's very much unique for our time.
