You're absolutely right. So, I guess you're from uptown, too. But this is no word of a lie. I've got a buddy who drives subways for the MTA and he tells me that the #1 leaves station every three minutes and the A every seven. But I'm sure you know that if you're headed to 125th, the A goes to St Nicolas. and the #1 to Broadway (which is way the heck on the west side uptown). So it all depends. But if I'm headed to The Heights, I'll take the #1.
