anyone know if he uses an alternate tuning for this?
barefoot3646 napisał :
Both E strings(high and low) are tuned down to a D. He does the same on Red Balloon.

it doesn't get any better than singer/songwriter and with bobby darin's funny story about this tune, it's all the more joyful on this cold winter's day, thanks!

sure did. If you can, get a copy of the book wonderland avenue by danny sugerman (his biography). Theres a part in it where Jim Morrison of the Doors takes Danny to see Hardin to scare Danny off drugs. Hes living in a slum completely bent and addicted to junk. hehe and yes im very aware of the irony of Jim Morrison trying to scare someone off drugs. ps although this version is great i like john holts reggae version a little more.

Fking awsome song. And this is the best version of it by far. Checked all the other covers of this song on youtube i could find. None is as good as this live version from Tim.
