Rare Kanuck Soul! Heard this song early on, but lost it until about 1981 when I heard it on my portable Sony on my deck and said, Who the F@#k is that? Sounded like Stevie W, but I knew it wasn't. Turns out to be all white Canadian band called Steam. One hit wonders? Who cares? The song is a classic in any time. Love the vibraphone jazz treatment and latin influence on this soul-R&B time capsule. Leave it to our Canadian brothers to come up with this beauty, Aa! Gere.
