tylerscottharyett napisał :not meaning to offend anyone BUT children should absolutely not be going to a chiropractor and them being "doctors" they should know that children who's bodies are still growing DON'T need their bones adjusted it is Ridiculous DO RESEARCH TALK TO REAL DOCTOR NOT THIS GUY IN THE VIDEO

I think most chiro's agree with what you say here, there's just a few who are religiously connected to said ideas and those who are making money with such claims that cling on to the outdated notion of manipulating the spines of infants. It's obvious there is no way of measuring any changes radiologically or palpably; it's assumption therapy. There are chiro's I would work w;those who keep track of science

tyler I am not offended, but I practiced as a Chiropractic Physician for 25 years and Children respond the best of all my patients. Only one restriction, you MUST be referred to a Chiropractor with high integrity and trust, which is how my office was run. Yes there are quacks out there who may not know what they are doing, but get referred by a friend or family to a reputable Chiropractor, and Children as well as adults of all ages WILL respond if they have a problem a Chiropractir can help. chiropractic treatment is not good and does not help. this practice is a joke and should not be done.if you have a sore back or something like that, sure a visit may make you feel better for a bit(so do pain pills) but all your doing is masking the problem. do some research and you'll find that through proper stretching and a bit of exercise you can strengthen the muscle around the joint but most importantly you will be bringing blood (full of good) to the area likely stopping the ache and pain

1974:AMA Committee on Cutaneous Health&Cosmetics noted:state of health of body may be entirely unrelated to physical&chemical condition of hair Although sev deficiency states of an essential element are often assoc w/low concent of element in hair, there are no data that indicate low concentrations of an element signify low tiss levels nor that high concentrations reflect high tiss stores. Therefore . hair metal levels would rarely help a physician select effective Rx."

Most commercial hair analysis laboratories have not validated their analytical techniques by checking them against standard reference materials. The techniques typically used to prepare samples for analysis can introduce errors for many of the elements being determined.

Y don't U join ChiroTalk discussion list? There R many chiro's perpetuating old mythologies; but many practice 'exactly' as I do. Why? Because they aren't afraid to throw out old ideas. I've done the same w/certain teachings via my colleagues. So much of what you indicate is pure assumption & never shown in 'valid' studies. Throw out the term subluxations adjustments, etc.. & just use your 'skills' to help joints function w/out always using end-range thrusts or activator tools & the sort.

If you apply a procedure & improve pain-free range, great. I don't think u r doing a service, however, if you rely upon Type III inhibitor receptor stimulation via the infamous 'pop' (cavatation, etc..) as a 1st approach. B.Mulligan emphasizes mobsduring movements, so freedom of movement w/out pain perception occurs w/out creating temporary laxity in the jt capsule; manip's cause pain relief in by plac'g jt in non-physiologic state; normal mvmnts, nrml uninterrupted jt movement preferred 1st

I agree, pain is in your brain, however, movements influence this perception, so movements still mean everything in orthopedics.I've worked w/numerous chiro's, centralization was not there thing until they looked at McKenzie.Studies show poor intertester reliability, even radiologically; also, it's PURE assumption to believe focusing upon assym. will lead to any benefit; especially considering varying bone shapes & normal differences from seg to seg from person to person.

I would agree that helping joints function optimally via various mobs to improve ROM in functional ways may be beneficial to performance,in sports &/or ADL's; it's an assumption to believe association w/decreases incidence of spinal pain in the general population when providg manips on a reg. basis; see Diek & Weinstein Studies, others. Mobs, Not Manip's as end-range thrusts over time is impact-full & rep use has greater likelihood to emulate rep trauma then prevent future problems.
