Scary frontier footage of Fukushima ruins, images of robots inside reactor

Two robots sent into the reactor buildings at the Fukushima nuclear plant have found massive amounts of radiation, barring any workers from entering. The plant's operator also announced a new 9 month plan to stabilize the situation, proposing to cover the reactors with a Chernobyl-like sarcophagus. The situation at the nuclear complex remains critical, with radiation leaks and difficult access hampering progress. Making $200 per day ...
Making $200 per day is super easy and can be done in one hour per day. This is a fantastic way to make money, and I know it sounds too good to be true but the fact of the matter is it is true. Come over to my website "Gold Trading Academy" and I'll show you just how real this is.

@Rotoziptheman Most ...
@Rotoziptheman Most of the radiation leaked, "fall-out" if you will, generated by Chernobyl was caused by the burning of the Graphite moderator, also, it should be noted, that even when a RBMK or graphite moderated reactor is shut down, the graphite moderator released energy it has essentially stored in itself (potential energy) through the neutron moderating process, this energy is released as heat, without cooling, it can cause combustion, google "windscale", "RBMK" and "graphite moderator".

@Rotoziptheman You ...
@Rotoziptheman You just showed your ignorance, Chernobyl was not a "nuclear" explosion, it was a steam explosion, maybe do a little research before you start babbling on about what you don't know. Chernobyl was a RBMK type reactor, Graphite Moderated, water cooled, the steam explosion led to the graphite being exposed, and catching fire while it was hurtled out of the reactor containment along with parts of the fuel assemblies. An "Excursion" or Criticality Incident" is not an explosion.

@skatecubed Just ...
@skatecubed Just because there is a nuclear explosion, doesn't mean it has to match the damage of Hiroshima or Nagasaki. Look at Chernobyl, nuclear explosion, no total and complete destruction of surrounding buildings. The pictures of Chernobyl look rather similar to this actually.
Rotoziptheman

@Rotoziptheman ...
@Rotoziptheman Even the smallest of "Nuclear" or atomic chain reaction explosions would be so obviously a nuclear explosion that there would be no doubt what it was, think Hiroshima or Nagasaki.

@bobodd5 Ever hear ...
@bobodd5 Ever hear of an earthquake and a tsunami? the earthquake damaged "the grid" preventing the supply of external (to the site) power, and the backup generators were washed out, along with the backup batteries. the road infastructor to the plant was also damaged hindering the emergency response. The reason they could not use "cables" and "generators" is the exact reason the plant went down in the first place.

@trackintracks The ...
@trackintracks The energy released can possibly be equivalent to that, but the difference is Criticallity releasing ionizing radiation (as what happens in the reactor normally, just in an uncontrolled fashion)over a period of time, and the sudden nearly instantaneous release of the same amount of energy in the form of heat and the explosion associated with a atomic weapon.

@littlemanbubbles ...
@littlemanbubbles though this is true, it would only apply to those who live on the same continent. as we have plenty of other sources of power, if we wasted less, WE might not have needed nuclear power. however in places like japan, the geography simply does not allow for too many dams, there is not enough land for massive wind farms and wind itself is not a very efficient power source to begin with. it is the very fact that we need electricity which is to blame.

@reneedierkes I'm ...
@reneedierkes I'm sorry to say that the economy in the US is still over 85% based on oil, for transportation. 60% on coal for producing energy, and as far as efficiency - fully 60% of ALL energy is lost as waste heat due to inefficiency. Green, like so many other things has been relegated to the "left" , along with "sciencey" stuff and a great many other things that are no longer considered necessary to be a patriot or loyal to your local oil/gas megacorp.

@littlemanbubbles ...
@littlemanbubbles Americans also use large quantities of water, perhaps they are to blame for the tsunami in Japan as well!! Come to think of it, America uses lots of potting soil for all the arrogant, greedy old lady gardens, which totally explains the Haitian Earthquake back in 2010. Misdirection & Bigotry. Loosely tangential bigotry at that.
