Hey thanks a bunch. That's easy enough. I have two Honda mowers. One starts very easy, the other one takes many pulls to start it even after I tuned it up. The only thing I did not do was adjust the valves!

My lawnmower is weak. I cut some grass and it ran out of gas too fast. I put gas in it and it was still too week to really start up and stay on. I let it sit for 40 minutes and it came on like brand new. But I cut one 2 by 2ft patch of grass and it shut off instantly like it is 10 years old? It is a little over a year old. Briggs and Stratton 550 series. Thanks

Hi Joseph, Whats up ?

The clearance of .004 will do for most ohv lawn mower engines. I would check the factory specs when possible. Thanks.

Thanks. I have a gay ass push mower. It's front wheel drive. It has a belt that goes around a pulley built into the crank, and goes up to a pulley above the gearbox. We've had it forever, and I hate it. A friend of mine has a push mower that's messed up and he was going to let me salvage the gear box and stuff from his. How difficult would it really be to alter the way it self-propels? I want to make it rear wheel drive instead of front-wheel. I think front-wheel is pretty useless.
