same situation in Ireland, the HSE. Although it takes 5 hours of service for something as small as a fracture, the fact is, if it wasn't there I'd probably be dead. Ireland is not at war or hosting the olympics and yet the money still doesn't exist. But all credit to the doctors and nurses, tough job.

The NHS is only free at point of service, you pay for it the whole way along whether or not you use it. And whether or not you choose to have private medical insurance.

I'm not arguing against the concept, but the inefficient and expensive way it is put in to practice. If it was properly run, it could do the job better and cheaper. Also, the NHS does NOT exist to create jobs - that is a cause, not a reason.

yah but we knew it was going to give jobs and it was made to help the poor tho i have to say it works well for us but at the same time it was not setup to work in a good way it costs more then it needs 2 not all the things work the way they want it but it works for the ppl a few small things can save us a lot of money and even make money back but you got ppl that say they dont want them to do it even tho it will work a lot better this way
