I can't help but ...
I can't help but correct you on something. Miku was the first JAPANESE Vocaloid 2. Sweet Ann was the first Vocaloid 2. ^^

(cont.) You need ...
(cont.) You need more proof Miku wasn't first? My first ever exposure to Vocaloid was finding Miriam's demo before Miku's release. I was, however, unimpressed with the pronunciation and forgot about it 'til recently. I believe I heard it in 2005, so... For much more information on the subject, Vocaloid wiki is your frieeeeeeeeeend. c:

(cont.) Miku was ...
(cont.) Miku was next. The reason she has an "01" on her upper arm is because she was the first CV (character vocals) product. Crypton were having trouble finding a professional singer that would work with them, so they created the CVs. They were to be voiced by anime voice actors, and with a voice suited to their appearance. Miku's voice is notably higher than her VAs, Saki Fujita. Her surname roughly translates to "future sound," to concrete the CV idea.

(cont.) I'm not ...
(cont.) I'm not sure about Meiko's release date, though I know Yamaha initially released Kaito on February 14th 2005, though Crypton released him on February 17th because his vocals needed slight adjusting. Kaito was announced a failure, however, and had less than 1000 sales in his first year. The first Vocaloid 2 product was Sweet Ann, another English Vocaloid....

While the idea of ...
While the idea of Vocaloid was originally pitched in Japan, back in 2000... They took the idea to Spain and had programming students work on the programme. Zero-G collaborated with them to create the first products, Leon and Lola, starting around 2001. The two were released in 2004, as a mere instrument. Next came Miriam, whose vocals were based off the popular British performer Miriam Stockley. Then the first Japanese Vocaloids, Meiko and Kaito.

@grimangelkish ...
@grimangelkish Before saying things, you should try and do some research. It's not right to say those things without knowing what they are, it's people like you who make the real fans look bad.

SeeU was designed ...
SeeU was designed by a Japanese artist and had to have been given permission to be developed by Yamaha. Many of the people who helped make her demos also happened to be Japanese. GTFO

You are soooo ...
You are soooo stupid, Miku isn't the first vocaloid at all. Kaito and Meiko were there first and Leon/Miriam/Lola (ENGLISH VOCALOIDS) too. Miku is the first of VOCALOID2 ! STUPID YOU ! Leon/Miriam/Lola and Kaito/Meiko are VOCALOID1 ! Stupid racist. Just because SeeU is koran.

You have the most ...
You have the most warped and insane facts stuck in your head. You are not making any logical sense and therefore are irrational. What you are saying is a pile of bullshit, and you are a moron. Koreans didn't even copy this! Why else would SeeU have become a VOCALOID and be added into the software?! Fucking dumb ass shit as fucking shit ass hell. You make me sick. I'm expecting a vulgar reply back from you with childish words. I know how people like you think. "NO U FUCKN" - no

Go on Wikipedia, ...
Go on Wikipedia, type in VOCALOID. Look at the first ever VOCALOID. Look at the date. Look at your comments. Go cut yourself, you fool.

Okay who's the ...
Okay who's the retard weaboo saying that Miku is the first "ever" vocaloid and that all Vocaloids are "supposed" to be Japanese? Go read the fucking wikipedia.
97kevinhuanle

You're an idiot. ...
You're an idiot. Vocaloid originated in an English-speaking country. Lola and Leon were released in 2004. You're either Japanese and ignorant or a weeaboo and more ignorant.
JenniePlays

no, miku is in ...
no, miku is in vocaloid 2 so there's no possible way she's the first vocaloid. there's vocaloid (english and japanese) , vocaloid 2 (which is included miku, more japanese than english) and vocaloid 3 (chinese, japanese, korean, etc.), the newest one with more kind of language..

It definitely ...
It definitely sounds better with the backing tracks, the Vocaloid seems to sing slightly deeper by itself, not as sweet as the vocalist. The enunciation is still pretty impressive to me though.

Only a correction: ...
Only a correction: the Crypton's first vocaloids were, first Meiko and later Kaito.
