Because her father is Ravi Shankar a world renowned sitarist(like a guitar) who played at Monterey and Woodstock and influenced the Beatles. Not to mention the rise of eastern philosophies during the late sixties. Yoga in the western world may not even exist today if it wasn't for Ravi,lol. Check him out on YouTube...you my not like the music but you have to admire the artisty. Especially if your stoned out of you mind :) The first video reminds me of the Doors.
