Nope sorry, but you know nothing! I bought a official book of the SAF! This was a official training between the german airforce and the Swiss airforce. They made several trainings and they found out, that the Hornet is a top moderne fighter aircraft and it can fight allmost every other fighterjet. In most of the fights in the mountains the mig 29 was to unmanouvable to fight the hornet! I don't know why most of the poeple think the hornet is an old jet which isn't good enough anymore

The Mig-29 is an excellent fighter, but the F/A-18 is a multirole aircraft designed to dogfight even with a full bomb load. In opration desert storm there are reports of a pair of Hornets engaging I believe were Iraqi Mig-23's and downing both, while carrying a full load of bombs and external tanks, Also anyone whose seen the Blue Angels will know of the Hornet's agility, but you can't compare them unless they go through the same moves side by side
