this would be awesome, and instead of picking for the pro-bowl we would vote for the olympics every 4 years lol

Well, football's been around much longer than American football for one. American football's only a little more than a century old, and while I don't know much about the history of soccer, I'm willing to bet it's older. Secondly, relax a little, this video's a joke. It's not meant to be taken seriously. Don't get so worked up over a little video like this, it's bad for your health.

yup yup, football (soccer) can be traced back to 1174 Middle Ages compared with American football's relatively young age of origin assumed to be around 1892. So just a little difference. And rugby, the game from which american football adopted a lot of its rules and gameplay was founded around 1750. Us brits are excellent at making games, shame we get dicked on in most of them

did you watch the game? what did he have to do with the outcome? it's like last year. Manning played a great game, but the rest of the team couldn't do it. Last year it was the defense, this year it was penaltys and 3rd down defense. He choked in 1999, he choked in 2003, he choked BIG time in 2004. But what does he have to do with the 07 and 08 losses? you say that the 06 ring is because of his defense, but the losses are because of him?

ok first off u have to admit that game was a little rigged the first half...reggie waynes "out of bounds catch" and a few plays later i forget who exactly it was sorry but supposively was an "amazing catch" when his left toes didnt touch now second off he had no mistakes and no interceptions, it was the rest of the teams fault...sad to say, every1 but manning was not at the top of their game. so please dont say worst mvp cuz look what he accomplished from 2 surgeries and no practice...

I'd be watching. The normal pacing of an nfl football season (with teams playing only once per week) might make it a difficult candidate, even if it continues to gain popularity in Europe and (possibly?) finds favor in the Orient. Similarities to rugby could also pose a hurdle? Although the suggestion was in jest, it's not outside the realm of possibility though-- give it 10 years. Basketball has developed into a worldwide obsession from humble roots...

fact of only play 1 game per week doesn't matter, is like that in most sports. What matters is that it's a 16 game season.

The Fact That US Is The Only Place Where Its Played Pro Would Hurt The Chances Of It Being A Olympic Sport Soon.. If Pro Leagues Popped Up Around The World.. && The Superbowl "World Champions" Were Actually Played By International Franchises Then It'll Have More Chance Of Being In The Olympics.. I Hope 1 Day, It Is In The Olympics Because It Is Such A Great Game..
