You are right, except for the fact that Bill Gates didn't make the computer affordable. It was IBM who hired Gates' little garage software company in their idea to make PCs. The rest of the story is widely known.

personally i am a great admirer of richard branson , however , how can he buy this nonsense about a global warming tipping point ? i wouldn't worry about that at all . the important thing is that this is a huge step for mankind . america needs to get behind this . it is also nice that the builder was an american , in a sense following behind the wright brothers .

this is exactly what people thought when planes were inventd people thought it was crazey to cross the atlantic etc same as now we think its crazy, and an forty thousand people can afford it imagine the profit they will make, and the price will go down in 50 years or so just like the commercial airlines
