They should turn it into a drag strip and let the homies race and stunt on it. Seriously though, great project. Although, it's too bad they just don't put the original train service back to ease congestion and pollution.

I think it's supposed to open by the end of the summer 2008 (August, maybe?). This sounds super exciting, and I totally want to go. I've lived in NY for almost 4 years and I never knew that was there.
