theres mic problems with the drum set like welshpunk siad and when your sitting down your lungs are fully expanding. like when you run and are out of breath u hear not to bend over and try to catch your breath cuz your lungs wont expand fully. so singing like that wont sound as good. but while recording travis could sing if he had a good enough voice. but to sing live... theres some problems with that.

Yeah, no... Not really how it works. Usually when they go into the studio they do tracks, where vocals, and guitar, and drums are all on different tracks. So they don't interfere with each other, and don't pick up any outside noises besides. So if the drummer sings, there will be a track just for him. See how that works?

The reason drummers rarely sing is cause the drums get picked up to much on the mic so it sounds shit... doesnt mean they cant sing and it doesnt stop them tryin.
