@TheBigKahunnah This is incredibly inaccurate. There was no editing SOFTWARE but there was plenty of editing HARDWARE. OF COURSE films could be edited... this is not all shot in one take, why do you think the camera angles change so much?

The Nicholas Brothers even had Gene Kelly stumped when filming "The Pirate" Fayard talked about how Gene went over the dance routine and the second time Harold just stood by while Gene ad Fayard kept rehearsing. Gene was NOTORIOUS for rehearsing and he was really upset that Harold wouldn't rehearse. Harold's answer: "I got it". Gene said or really, ok, let's roll the film. Harold busted it out in one take on film. Gene was too through!
