Then in a couple of the shots I put the slow motion clips into Twixtor, a program that adds frames to make it even slow, and I made those shots run at 1000fps, by adding frames in between the other frames. After bringing an 8000 fps high definition camera to the Olympics so everyone could see Michael Phelps touch the wall first, I-Movix is ready to show off the SprintCam v3 HD at NAB 2009. For this particular video, Jace Leroy was the main camera guy on it, then Kristen Hillier, and then I. This video was shot mostly with the Canon T2i, at 60 fps. A couple shots were done with the Canon 5D, and one shot was done with the GoPro Hero camera. You can buy more about GoPro cameras in their official website below. www.GoPro.com I used After Effects to re-render the frame rate to make it play much slower then 60fps. I used an effect called "Time Warp". A lot of people have sent me messages asking me what settings I used with "Time Warp" in after effects, and this isn't a question I can totally answer because I just did it by trial and error. Each video clip I just had to play with each of the settings to adjust what looked best. It took me 4 days of figuring this out. The bottom line was just experimenting with what looked best, and then waiting forever for it to render out. For sound design I experimented with sound effects of cameras, war sounds, and I used the original "landing on the moon", because I felt that best conveyed flight. Also, an interesting other thing, the composer Stephen, he took another song he had did that had lyrics, and he super slowed the song down for this piece, then he altered it to <b>...</b>

Some video shot on the Rebel t3i at 60fps, using Twixtor Express to slow down the footage to 1000fps. Twixtor Express is far from perfect. There are basically no settings to tweak, so you have to be careful with the shots you try to slow down and you have to be using a pretty high shutter speed (2000 - 4000) to get the clarity needed for the right effect. Skaters include Wes Wallace, Kurt Raymond (0:28 & 1:29), Zach Miyamoto (1:00), Dylan Phipps (1:12 & 2:14)), Scott Hartzel (1:49), Alex Knox (1:56), and Wes Johnson (2:26). I literally had about 20 minutes of hardflip footage and I had to leave a lot of good ones out to get it down to a reasonable length. I wanted to show the two major styles of hardflips, which are the ones that are popped basically straight up with little or no flick with the front foot (like Dylan at 1:12) and the other looks more like a frontside shuv-it kickflip (like Kurt at 0:29).
