Mike Poor, Certified Arborist was kind enough to let us watch and film him and his crew at work a few days ago. The job was to heavily trim back some trees that were located between some power lines and an apartment building. Mike set up the Effer 1750 in the parking lot behind the apartment building and then had the crane reach over the building to lift the big picks up and over the building to his waiting crew and chipper in the parking lot. Mike operated the crane remotely while he was in the tree and he and his crew couldn't see each other and could only communicate via walkie-talkies. This is the first video of the series and shows the crane set up.
