This is a video about WISE 1828+2650 The Coolest Known Star, WISE spacecraft, and the constellation Lyra. WISE 1828+2650 is located in the small constellation Lyra and was discovered by NASA's Wide-field Infrared Survey Explorer (WISE). WISE is a infrared-wavelength astronomical space telescope which was launched on December 14, 2009 and decommissioned on February 17, 2011. Equipped with a 40 cm (16 in) diameter infrared telescope, which performed an all-sky astronomical survey with images in 3, 5, 12, and 22 μm wavelength range bands, for over 10 months.

Mathilde Wesendonck (23 December 1828 - 31 August 1902) was a minor German poet, who is best known as the friend and possibly mistress of Richard Wagner, who set five songs to her words, the Wesendonck Lieder. She was born Agnes Mathilde Luckemeyer in Elberfeld in 1828. She married the silk merchant Otto Wesendonck (sometimes seen as von Wesendonk). Otto was a great admirer of Wagner's music, and after he and Mathilde met the composer in Zurich in 1852, he placed a cottage on his estate at Wagner's disposal. By 1857, Wagner had become infatuated with Mathilde. It is not known whether she returned his affections to the same degree, or if the affair -- such as it was - was ever consummated. Nevertheless, the affair inspired Wagner to put aside his work on Der Ring des Nibelungen (which would not be resumed for the next twelve years) and begin work on Tristan und Isolde. In 1858, Wagner's wife Minna intercepted a letter from Wagner to Mathilde. After the resulting confrontation, Wagner left Zürich alone, for Venice. Mathilde Wesendonck died in 1902 in Traunblick am Traunsee. She was portrayed by Valentina Cortese in the 1955 film Magic Fire. It is popularly known as the "Death and the Maiden" Quartet because the second movement is adapted from the piano accompaniment to Schubert's 1817 song (or lied), "Death and the Maiden". Ariel Dorfman's 1991 play "Death and the Maiden" and its 1994 film adaptation (directed by Roman Polanski) take their names from the quartet. **Becuase this particular movement is over twelve minutes long, I have split the movement in two right after the end of the third variation. In the year 1828, a little Indian boy living on Ward creek had sold a gold nugget to a white trader, and that nugget sealed the doom of the Cherokees. In a short time the country was overrun with armed brigands claiming to be government agents, who paid no attention to the rights of the Indians who were the legal possessors of the country. Crimes were committed that were a disgrace to civilization. Men were shot in cold blood, lands were confiscated. Homes were burned and the inhabitants driven out by the gold-hungry brigands. Chief Junaluska was personally acquainted with President Andrew Jackson. Junaluska had taken 500 of the flower of his Cherokee scouts and helped Jackson to win the battle of the Horse Shoe, leaving 33 of them dead on the field. And in that battle Junaluska had drove his tomahawk through the skull of a Creek warrior, when the Creek had Jackson at his mercy. Chief John Ross sent Junaluska as an envoy to plead with President Jackson for protection for his people, but Jackson�s manner was cold and indifferent toward the rugged son of the forest who had saved his life. He met Junaluska, heard his plea but curtly said, "Sir, your audience is ended. There is nothing I can do for you." The doom of the Cherokee was sealed. Washington, DC, had decreed that they must be driven West and their lands given to the white man, and in May 1838, an army of 4000 regulars, and 3000 volunteer soldiers under command of General Winfield Scott, marched into the Indian <b>...</b>

Maria João Pires and Hüseyin Sermet plays Schubert Fantasia in F minor, D.940 (op.103), for four-hands, one of Schuberts most important piano works, composed in 1828, the last year of his life and dedicated to his pupil and unrequited love, Karoline Esterházy. Schubert began writing the Fantasia in January 1828 in Vienna. The work was completed in March of that year and first performed in May by Schubert and Franz Lachner (1803 - 1890, German composer and conductor). Schubert died in November 1828.
