Our shell design and note placement were inspired by the famous Swiss made hang drum. The 1Tone drum has a central note which is pressed out by hand and tuned to one of the tones of the scale. Part of the tongues on the upper side of the drum there is also a single tongue on the bottom side, it is in harmonic relations with its opposite note- the upper central note, they are tuned to the same key. The bottom tongue can also be played, it produces a low bassfull sound.
Hey all. I bought this pedal on high reccommendation from a friend (Mr. ShadyDave) and I was expecting to be a little dissapointed as I already own a Butler Tube Drive and thought that it was the be all and end all in tube overdrive/distortion pedals. I was wrong... The Nady is a totally different pedal but equally as useful. I spent a little time playing around with it until I stumbled in on this massive, PHAT, smooth, slick tone. This is just a short video jam to demonstrate that tone I found, feel free to laugh at the mistakes haha! Chain: Guitar Nady TD-1 H+K Trilogy Clean Channel (In The trilogy loop there is Rocktron Hush IICX and TC Electronic G Sharp) All of the gain is coming from the pedal which is set to the 'medium gain' setting with the knob pushed up to about 3 O'clock. Favorite! Hey ya'll. Just a little update from the cave (I'm recording my full length!). I started tracking an upbeat darker / dancy song that I'm really stoked on. I started trying to find a lead electric tone for the choruses and started playing the hook for "Whatever You Like" by TI - I thought it was friggen hilarious but amazing at the same time so I thought, "hey.. I should record this. So here it is. Just me messin' around with a dirty tone. PS. Not tryna be a show boat. 'Cause I'm not really that good. I honestly sit and do this for hours at a time. Enjoy :) Also - My G string (GUITAR not underwear ;p) slowly goes flat as the video goes on. I just put new strings on for the part! Sorrry if it bugs.
