Donkey Kong Jungle Beat - Star Fruit Kingdom - 2302
This is a high score run through Star Fruit Kingdom on Donkey Kong Jungle Beat. This run beats my old score by 55 points. The two levels in this kingdom are Ninjape Rally and Asteroid Belt. The boss is Sumo Kong. This is the last of the kingdoms in the game. (prior to the two boss stages) On the surface, this kingdom looks like it wouldn't be too frustrating or exceedingly difficult. However, upon trying to improve my score and make this video, I encountered numerous challenges on the Asteroid Belt. If the room with the 4 purple enemies has 1 enemy fail to latch or the bananas scatter in a bad pattern, that 102 pt combo turns into 50 or 60 points really quick. The area with the 2 birds and the hog in the tree is extremely difficult to time properly. The majority of the time, over half of those bananas either fall to the ground or vanish on me. The area with the frozen fuzzy enemies and the spider can easily go bad quickly. There is no quick way to try and collect all of those fuzzy enemies with a good combo so I stopped after collecting about the majority of them. To top it off, the last room with the panda, two sets of flies and three purple enemies caused nothing but disaster on most runs. Ideally, if things go perfectly, I'd like to jump over the panda immediately to start the level and run to the right wall, do a reverse backflip, wall kick, edge hop off of the little rock, then clap to stun the panda (at the exact moment he sends out his shock wave, mind you) and <b>...</b>
