This is an amazing short film of the shores of New York coast in stunning, pristine Full 1080p HD at 24p. This video features remarkable shots of the ocean waves in slow motion, cinematic resolution, film style quality and feel, and more. This film was shot by HiiDefinition with the Canon Vixia HF S21 along with a wide angle lens converter, model WD-H58. I also used a couple of filters to enhance the picture. This video also shows how the ordinary shots can be turned into the up most extraordinary with color correction and proper cinematic aspect ratio. All the slow motion shots were captured at 60i, and then the frame rate was cut in half to create slow motion images. I edited this video in Final Cut Pro 7, and I distorted each clip by negative 33% to give the proper 2.35:1 aspect ratio. This is a stunning short film of the city Philadelphia during the day and night. This video features advanced color correction, amazing detail, and film-lke shots to give the ultimate cinematic experience. This entire video was filmed by HiiDefinition in pristine full 1080p using the Canon Vixia HF S21 with a WD-HD58 wide angle converter, 82mm UV Filter, and a Lens Hood. This is a stunning film in full 1080p HD that I created of New York City during night time, using my Canon Vixia HF S21 along with my WD-H58 wide angle lens attachment. I color corrected and changed the aspect ratio to 2.35:1 to give this video the ultimate film look. This video features amazing professional shots of the city streets, time lapse, and of course, unsurpassed quality. I shot using my wide angle lens at 24 MBPS or MXP for best results. I also used a high speed memory card to compensate the high bit rate. I used Final Cut Pro 7 to edit and add the color correction. this short was a test run to check out the capabilities of mk2. and to my big surprise, the raw footage is absolutely stunning and i'll shoot future shorts with this camera rather than SONY EX3. sound is temp. shot over several hours with various zeiss/canon lenses. cut with FCP, color adjusted with MAGIC BULLET LOOKS. converted to 24p with cinema tools and compressor. the budget for this project was 200 bucks. sorry, no subtitle yet. but the premise is about a guy who's waiting for his girlfriend to come down from work so they can go have a picnic. but when he's forced to wait longer than expected, he plays a prank on her by telling her to get into a "friend's car" parked outside the building. based on a real prank pulled by a colleague.

This isn't a review, but more of an 'overview' of the Canon Vixia HF R10 HD camcorder. I think this is a great option for the video or filmmaker out there looking to upgrade to a camera with more manual controls that is still reasonably priced. 24p can be a major pain, and not a magic bullet. It can still be done, and will be described in future guides, but it may not be worth jumping through hoops to get it. I should have mentioned that you should go with 24p when your footage was originally shot that way, and it's almost always a bad idea to convert interlaced video to 24p. That's a quick way to destroy your footage, and give your viewers a headache.
