I just had to share this video with all of my subscribers because it is just amazing. I don't know him or have ever talked to him, but he deserves WAY more subscribers than he has. Right now he has less than me, which I don't think should be true. So please, please subscribe to him. He has a lot of other videos that are just like this one, so check em out. Oh and that black sludge thing rips off all of the white from the cars to make them black. I didn't pick that up until my 3rd time watching.

3ds Max Glow Tutorial

Demonstrating just a couple ways of achieving a glow effect in 3ds Max 2009, using mental ray. Couple things to note is that since each scene will be different, you will have to adjust your lighting other parameters like "luminance" to fit your scene. I didn't mention this, but in the camera shader "Glare" parameters, you can put a check in the box for "streaks" and rather than a perfect glowing halo, there will be some neat streaks in it to give a different effect. Play around, do a little exploring, and have fun with it!! :D

3ds max, reactor beginner tutorial Car crashing through a wall using reactor, only for max 7 or up uses, no modeling required For the people who do not have the left reactor toolbar, follow these steps: On the top toolbar click customize then customize user interface. Once the new window opens, click on the toolbars tab, there should be a list box, on default it should say Axis Constraints, change it to Reactor, it should be set to hide, untick hide and we now have the left reactor toolbar.

Refractive Software is proud to announce their next product, Octane Render for 3ds Max. This video demonstrates an alpha build of the plug-in. Some of the features of the plug-in include: - The plug-in offers all the features of the standalone product but does so inside 3D Max. - True integration within 3ds Max.
