Tested with a 1994 3000GT VR4. AWS is pretty visible in this video when I turn full lock. I turn full lock twice on each side, which is why you see the wheel pop out twice. At around 3/4 of the way through the video I'm jerking the steering wheel back and forth, and you can see it activate then as well. The AWS system is same phase, meaning the rear wheels turn in the same direction as the front wheels when it activates. The AWS is controlled by a system of valves at the rear differential. There's a valve that limits the AWS to above a certain speed, so it doesn't make parking more difficult. There's also a valve that activates the AWS based on a pressure differential from the two feed lines from the front power steering rack. The system is extremely stable for lane changes, and helps keep the rear end in check in corners. Professional drivers that have tested the AWS through slaloms say it makes the car feel "different" but they say it's also easier to go faster because the rear end doesn't slide out like it would with no AWS. Notice the Active Aero front air dam in the video. It pops down at around 48 mph. disclaimer: I am in no way responsible if you try this and do something stupid or hurt yourself, etc.

How does four wheel drive work? This video explains the workings of four wheel drive (4WD), and gives a definition in order to differentiate different types of four wheel drive and all wheel drive. Four wheel drive simply means 4 wheels are driven, and many times this is accomplished through the use of a transfer case. Edited down from 45 minutes, this video covers the removal and installation of a left front wheel bearing for a 1999 Chevy S-10 4x4. Started with a grinding nose and slight steering wheel vibration that got progressively worse and much louder when driving on curves. Originally replaced the older right side bearing given neither one showed signs of being worn out upon inspection. Come to find out it was the left bearing that had failed and this video shows it's replacement. This also fixed the ABS problem I was having as upon inspection, part of the ABS wire to this bearing had actually broken.

This is my gt3b with hack kit from the overkillrc website. Absolutely worth every penny. Fixed expo problem and many others. Right now it has front steering, 4 wheel steering and rear steer. Just add one button crab function and dual esc's so I now have front and rear DIG. The crawler is an exceed mad torque.
