2010 Toyota 4Runner Trail Grade Full Test: www.insideline.com Climbing up the near-vertical dirt trail in the all-new 2010 Toyota 4Runner Trail Grade seems pretty easy, at least until we get to the hill-climb's crest. The trail is actually too steep to walk up and the front tire on the driver side starts losing traction and the front end begins to slide off the trail toward a drop-off that borders each side of the incline. After stopping the SUV on the hill's face (and taking a few deep breaths), we engage the push-button Crawl Control on its most aggressive setting, grab on tight to the steering wheel and take our foot completely off the brake. This allows the Crawl Control to modulate throttle and traction control at each wheel to maximize grip up the hill at a slow and controlled pace, allowing us to just focus on steering away from the cliff's edge. A few short moments later, we crest the trail's lip with ease.

2010 Toyota 4Runner SR5 This 4Runner comes with the 4.0L V6 making 270 HP while paired to a 5 speed auto. By all means avoid the base engine which was only available for the 2010 year. It was a 2.7L 4 Cyl paired to a 4 speed auto. Toyota learned that it was such a mistake, they dropped it for 2011. My biggest issue with the 4Runner is with it's interior. Most parts are tightly finished, but the quality of the materials is quite cheap. The older 2003-2009 4Runner had a richer interior. My other issue is with its styling. How it became bulky inside & out. The older 4Runner it replaced was sleeker in both senses. I found out that party mode button actually amplifies the stereo to make it sound a tad butter, deactivated the middle row speakers, & deliver full power to the tailgate speakers & the front door. At least thats what I read many people claim.

Well, I started off in the outback, first encountering the rare endangered albino buddy and adrian. they werent so vicious today, as all they wanted was food... Then i wandered into the tent to look for stuff i might need, when i encountered more wildlife! Then i started working on the rear bumper till i started feeling really sick from the heat... i just cannot take heat very well anymore... I also got the fuel filler neck done, though i need to replace those zap straps with better ones, or a steel clamp of some sort... I went to Susie's to rest, but ended up in a windstorm in the hortons drive through... almost had one of their signs hit me when it flew off the building... it landed under my car, so i opened my door and picked it up haha! the look on the cashier's face was priceless when she opened the window, expecting money, but instead, got their sign :P Then we made huckleberry waffles for dinner! beg my pard! My Camouflage 1997 Toyota 4runner. Total cost was $150 for the Krylon Camo Paint, and Gray Primer. Total sand, prep, and paint job took me about 48 hours of labor. The truck is mildly modified with Cold Air Intake, and a cat-back exhaust system (flowmaster 40 series delta flow). I'm running an NGK wireset with NGK Iridium plugs, and Shell Rotella T 15w40 oil. I have over 208000 miles on the 4runner, but it gets 18mpg city and 22mpg highway. The only thing I ever had to replace was the alternator at around 100000. The engine is a 2.7L 3rz engine. Tires are BFG 31x10.5x15 All Terrain T/A KO, and wheels are Procomp 15x8 Rock Crawlers.

Myself and a group of mates got togeather for a boys night out in the victorian high country. We started from walhalla and weaved our way to the donolleys creek gold mining area, this video is from the deep creek one and deep creek four tracks. On the lead up to this trip just about anything and everything that could have gone wrong had and did, but it just added to the fun at the end of it all. The 2.8l diesel 4runner had ceased no more than 2 weeks before the trip, the gq patrol suffered a cracked head only a few days before the trip and on the day before the trip both the patrol and pajero had started developing clutch issues..... but we didnt let any of that get in the way. The landcruiser is a stock 4.2l 1hz diesel with 45mm anti inversion shackles, 33 inch bfg mudterrain km2's and a richmond gears front auto locker ( this is my 4x4 ) The gq patrol has a tb42 ( 4.2l petrol ) with an aftermarket turbo running on straight lpg, It has a 2 inch body lift and a 2 inch suspension lift. Modified bar work done from home factory rear limited slip diff, open front diff and is running 35 inch simex extreme trekkers. The pajero is a stock 3.0l v6 petrol with a factory rear air locker, its runs 31 inch silverstone mt 117 sports, this vehicle is usually suprisingly capable off road but with a cv joint popping out at the start of the trip rendering his front diff useless ( all power went to the broken cv meaning no drive in the front )the poor pajero needed to get snatched a whole <b>...</b>
