Grass Lake is a village in Jackson County in the US state of Michigan. The population was 1082 at the 2000 census. Grass Lake was first settled in 1829 by David Sterling, whose family moved here from Niagara County, New York. In 1842, the coming of the railroad helped make Grass Lake a permanent community when they built a station here: it stands, well-preserved, along the still active rail line to the east of town.

Stratford-upon-Avon is a market town in south Warwickshire, England in the United Kingdom. Kuşadası is a resort town on the Aegean coast of Turkey, near the ancient city of Ephesus, 90 km south of İzmir and a short distance across from the island of Samos. It is extremely popular as a tourist destination, both for its many beaches, and as the port for cruise ship passengers heading to Ephesus. Kusadasi has a residential population of 50000 which rises to over half a million during the summer due to local and foreign tourists. Ephesus, was one of the great cities of the Ionian Greeks in Anatolia, located in Lydia where the Cayster River (Küçük Menderes) flows into the Aegean Sea (in modern day Turkey). It was founded by colonists principally from Athens. The ruins of Ephesus are favourite for domestic and international tourism attractions, due to easy accesibility via İzmir ADB airport and via the port of Kuşadası.

Patmos is a small Greek island in the Aegean Sea. It is one of the Dodecanese islands, it has a population of roughly 3000 and an area of 34.6 km² (13 square miles). The highest point is Profitis Ilias, 269 meters above sea level. Patmos' main communities are Hora and Skala, the only commercial port. The churches and communities on Patmos are of the Eastern Orthodox tradition. Patmos is most notable for its mention in the Christian scriptural Book of Revelation. The book's introduction states that the author, John, has been exiled to Patmos, and that there he saw and recorded a vision from Jesus. Very early Christian tradition identifies this John as Saint John the Evangelist. As such, Patmos is a destination for Christian pilgrimage. Visitors can visit the cave where John supposedly saw the Revelation. Several monasteries on the island are dedicated to Saint John.

Fue fundado en 1705 y ha sido declarado Monumento Nacional en 1975 porque conserva intacta su arquitectura colonial, con casas y edificios pintados de blanco gris o azul y muchas fachadas elaboradas en piedra caliza.
