iPod Touch 5th Generations Predictions, finally! I haven't done many iPod Touch 5th generation predictions in a while, so I thought I would do one now, and probably one for the iPad 3, we'll see. This afternoon, we recieved some intel from an iPhone source that has been reliable in the past. Most of the information is already known but it is important to weigh in on what's going around. The "big" news is that Apple will be selling two totally distinct iPhones in September. One will be a low-end variety that will address the cheap Android market, according to the source. This means that the next full-fledged model upgrade will take place in 2012, with the release of the iPhone 5. This rumor comes from an anonymous Asian source. Below we have more information about the supposed specs of the iPhone 4S: The iPhone 4S will likely use the ARM Cortex A9 single-core/dual-core processor, which could be different than the one found on the iPad 2. It also will probably have an 8-megapixel camera, as suggested by previous leaks. But considering the competition already has dual-core processors in Android phones, we really hope Apple will not stay with a single-core processor and get left behind. There are a bunch of interesting rumors regarding the radios of the smartphone. Apple is supposed to incorporate 3-4 internal antennas that will let you use the phone anywhere in the world. We have also heard the words "SIM-less design." But this SIM-less design rumor doesn't seem to be that believable for now, because we've also heard that Orange was working with Apple for new microSIM designs.
