Well Since it was National Train Day I decided to go out and see if i could catch Amtrak Engine Number 145 on Amtrak Train 314 and 313 Service, so going to downtown and waiting for it but while we were there and wanting to see some freight action, we had just missed a BNSF oil Train by 5 min. and then didnt see a freight train for the hour we were waiting, it was really busy according to the radio scanner between WR Tower and Lennox Tower. o well, but since we had some time to reposision to catch Amtrak so i decided to head out to Kirkwood, and as Amtrak Train 314 is at the station then i heard the detector go off for a train on track two and so then i hurry across the tracks and its a coal train, but then as the head end is coming by me Amtrak 314 leaves Kirkwood Station, but as it comes around the curve i see AMTK 145 isnt on the train. I am like COME ON!!! REALLY!! UGH! o well at least it was giong fast as it came by me. So this will be It until a Giant Video on Monday i am leaving my house at 4:30am on Monday to go Railfan in Central IL places still to be determained, thinking Effingham, Tuscola, and Decatur
