West Somerset Railway 'Early Spring Trains' with 7812 'Erlestoke Manor'

Between the start of the season on 19th February and to the beginning of the Spring Steam Gala the West Somerset Railway had a special guest to haul trains over the 20 mile branch, this guest was 7812 'Erlestoke Manor' from the Severn Valley Railway who will also appear at he Spring Steam Gala on the 19 - 20th & 24th - 27th March 2011. Since the 'Manor' had an early visit I thought I'd film over a number of days and make a video to show how nice it is to have a Manor running on the West Somerset again. This video shows the 'Manor' working trains along the line on the 19th, 20th and 26th February along side resident small prairie tank 5553, the only difference between the days are on the 19th & 20th the Manor faced Bishops Lydeard and to my Surprise on the 26th the Manor was facing Minehead which meant I could not get the shots I planned, but I made up for this in the end. These are the order of the clips featured in the film and when they were filmed -- 5553 At Crowcombe Station (20th February) 7812 at Bishops Lydeard Station (26th February) 7812 at Watersmeet (26th February) 5553 at Leigh woods (26th February) 5553 at Churchlands Bridge (26th February) 7812 at Old Cleeve (Washford Bank) (20th February) 7812 at Leigh Bridge (20th February) 7812 at Leigh Woods (20th February) 7812 at Crowcombe Station (19th February) I hope you enjoy this video; I certainly enjoyed filming it as seeing my favourite class of steam locomotive on my favourite line is a great sight for my eyes ...
