Thousands of student activists and protesters were killed. Many students activists, known as 88 generation, were imprisoned in 1989 for decades, temporarily released in 2004, and rearrested in 2007 until now. Ms. Aung San Suu Kyi has been under house arrest for 14 out of the past 20 years and is now facing more charges related to an American uninvited visitor to her residence. Despite her winning result of 1990 election, she could not assume her presidential role because she was forced under house arrest. I know a lot of people do not know about this uprising because Burma has been a closed country that never issued visas to foreign journalists. I hope that this video will find a place in your thoughts and give you an opportunity to envision the next decade of uncertainty in Burma. It was great to see an engine with a same-4-digit number, Norfolk Southern 8888. You can't really see Norfolk Southern 8405 because I did a bad job on running my camera and YouTube pixelated the footage, as always. Enjoy.
