The VBCI (French: Véhicule Blindé de Combat d'Infanterie), or in English "Armoured Vehicle for Infantry Combat", is a French Infantry Fighting Vehicle (IFV) designed to replace the AMX-10P. In the early 90s, the French government started the VBM (Véhicule Blindé Modulaire), the Modular Armoured Vehicle program, as a replacement for its older IFVs. Soon, Germany and the United Kingdom joined the project. However, in 1999, the programme came to a dead-end, and France decided to follow on its own. By 2000, 700 vehicles were ordered by the French government, with full active service planned by 2008. The VBCI is a modern 8-wheeled armoured vehicle with add-on armour and adaptable weapon fitments, in addition to being air transportable. The Pars (Anatolian Leopard) armored personnel carrier is design and developed by the Turkish FNSS company, teamed with the US GPV. The Pars APC was first publicly revealed in 2005 with a 8x8 chassis configuration, however it is also available in 4x4 6x6 and 10x10 configurations. This family of armored vehicles is aimed at Turkish Land Forces Command requirement and export customers. The Pars has a modular design and can be fitted with various armament fits, including external and turret mounted armament. Vehicle can accommodate one- or two-men turrets. The 8x8 Pars has a crew of two and can carry up 12 troops. Over 8 tones of cargo can be carried in place of the troops. The APC has an active hydropneumatic suspension system. It enables to adjust ground clearance electronically or to lean vehicle in any direction. Ground clearance is adjusted depending on road conditions. The Pars is also fitted with a central tyre inflation system. Vehicle is fully amphibious without preparation. On water it is propelled by spinning it's wheels, however hydrojets are optional. In this video a 2 Colour (red/green) 8x8 LED Dot Matrix Display circuit is developed that uses three 74HC595 ICs to drive the rows/columns and a darlington transistor array (UDN2981A) to source the current. An Arduino is used to provide the serial data and the source code is presented to show how this was achieved. The display is a common anode display and the experiment spends time examining the current constraints, explaining why we require transistor arrays to source or sink current. People have been anticipating this cube for a long time. Even though there are some differences between this and the V Cube patent, I still consider this cube to be a knock-off. I personally don't have morality issues about buying knock offs because I also support the real product. If you are going to buy knock off puzzles the least you can do is buy the real thing too just to support the original designer. This cube is heavy. Not as heavy as the 11x11, but it's definitely up there in weight. The turning is smooth for the most part, but the inner layers are a bit grindy and I'm hoping that that will go away with breaking in. Somebody told me about a small mod that can be done where you take a corner section of the cube out at a time and scrape away all the little bits of plastic that was left from the mold and that will make the grinding go away, however when I tried this I found that mine was pretty clean and I couldn't find any bits of plastic to shave down. I will try again pretty soon and see if there is something I can do. Thanks for watching!

The Lazar BVT, is a Serbian mine resistant ambush protected (MRAP) vehicle named after Stefan Lazar Hrebeljanović (Serbian Cyrillic: Стефан Лазар Хребељановић), a great 14th century ruler of Serbia who led the mighty Serbian Empire against Ottoman Turkish invasion. It is manufactured by Yugoimport SDPR, a Serbian state-owned defence company that represents the government and military industrial complex of Serbia in the sphere of importation and exportation cooperation of defence equipment and related services. The vehicle was conceived for use in urban and rural anti-infantry patrol and transport role, a supplementary vehicle meant to prevent exposure of even basic infantry units to enemy fire as well as to run support of heavier vehicles in convoy situations. Special attention was given to a high acceleration rate, stability (due to high center of gravity), hardiness, and reliability in many types of environments (fire, snow, ice, rain, mud etc). The vehicle has a standard steel hull with STANAG level III+ protection in the basic configuration, although additional laminate armor developed by Yugoimport provides an upgrade to NATO STANAG 4569 agreement level V+ armor protection. In addition to the two armor configurations mentioned, both can be upgraded with ERA packets for protection against close range urban attacks with RPG weapons, as well as other means of protecting against heavy fire. We are three French students from Telecom ParisTech and did this project as part of our studies in mars/april 2011. It is inspired from 2010 GLiP project. It's a concept of small games and applications displayed on a dynamic block network using their 8×8 led matrix. To interact with the network you can use each block as a remote by turning it at 180 degrees, then just choose the desired game, animation or music. When you want to replace the remote block into the network just turn it at 180 degrees again. Possibilities are infinite: interactive chest, pong, and new game concepts... this vid shows you how to edit 8X8 graphics and actualy SAVE them. expect a 16X16 tut soon. step 1: open luanr magic and open yor ROM. step 2: find or change the graphics to a level by clicking the purple shroom. step 3: open the 8x8 window. step 4: click on a tile you wish to edit or recreate. edit the tiles. you can press the up and down arrow keys to change palletes and the "page up" an "page down" keys to change the page. anyways edit a tile. now. move your mouse over to the tile you want to replace with the tile you just made and right-click. there. step 5: extract the GFX from the ROM. step 6: press F9 to save (the 8x8 window must be bright blue, not faded blue) step 7: insert the GFX to the ROM. congrats!
