After a disappointing day of railfanning, I was on my way home. And I saw this train crossing Rt 176. I was driving on US 41 (Skokie Hwy.) and was passing the train. I got to the locomotives and saw the ex SP unit and tried to get a photo but these trees got in my way. So I beat this train to the Old Elm Rd. Crossing and turned right. The gates haven't come down yet so I turned around quickly as the train was approaching. While I was turning around I heard the bells and got out to the crossing and got there just in time.

8-5-09: Second car is a Ferromex autorack! I forgot to upload this one back in August, so I figured I should today (Half a year later XD). August 5, 2009 was a great day in Wabash, with seven or eight trains and a parade of MOW equipment from about 11 AM to 4 PM (a majority being C40-9Ws, of course) but still a great day I won't forget soon! The 2880 m (9449 ft) long bridge dramatically improves access to and from the Peloponnese, which could previously be reached only by ferry or via the isthmus of Corinth at its extreme east end. Its width is 28 m (92 ft) — it has two vehicle lanes per direction, an emergency lane and a pedestrian walkway. Its five-span four-pylon cable-stayed portion of length 2252 m (7388 ft) is the world's second longest cable-stayed deck; only the deck of the Millau Viaduct is longer at 2460 m (8071 ft). However, as the latter is also supported by bearings at the pylons apart from cable stays, the Rio-Antirrio bridge deck might be considered the longest cable-stayed "suspended" deck. This bridge is widely considered to be an engineering masterpiece owing to several solutions applied to span the difficult site. These difficulties include deep water, insecure materials for foundations, seismic activity, the probability of tsunamis, and the expansion of the Gulf of Corinth due to plate tectonics. The bridge was planned in the mid-1990s and was built by a French-Greek consortium led by the French group Vinci, and which includes the Greek companies Hellenic Technodomiki-TEV, J&P-Avax, Athena, Proodeftiki and Pantechniki.
