Today I went to circuit Park Zandvoort where they held Gran Turismo Zandvoort 2011. This Porsche 993 "GT2" EVO was participating on this event. It was definitely one of the loudest cars on the track today. It is based on a 993 Turbo (450bhp) but tuned up to 500bhp. It has a 993 Carrera RS interior and a RS/ GT2 EVO II exterior. Today I attended the gun show with my father. After which we stopped by the local Re-Store, and rounded things out with a trip to our favorite used media outlet. I'm not sure that the place actually has a name, but they have handwritten signs on the street advertising CDs and DVDs for sale "...most items $1...", I think all the media items are $1. They have records of all sizes and speeds, lots of books, Cds,DVDs,very large selection of VHS, a little 3/4 tape, a remarkably large amount of 1/4" reel-to-reel,magazines, comic books, and some trading cards. Today I bought 2 books; I usually buy more. The first book is "California Coastal Resource Guide" (1987) which is geographic and historical data relating to California Coastal Zone. It looks to be interesting, and is published by one of my least favorite State agencies: The California Coastal Commission. And when I say that they are one of my least favorite State agencies, I don't mean to imply that I have a net positive opinion of any State agency, because I do not. The second book is "Telecult Power: The Amazing New Way to Psychic and Occult Wonders" by Reese P Dublin. And while most books have you turn to the back cover or an inside flap to discover just what it's all about, this book has the balls to lay it out right there on the front cover: "In these thrilling pages you'll discover how to hear the thoughts of others...how to see through walls and doors...how to hypnotize in ten seconds flat...how to broadcast silent <b>...</b>
