I have had the pleasure to stay in two great hotels these past few months, citizenM and The Leela. I think I have now found the next hotel on my list, 9 hours in Japan. 9 hours is a japanese capsule hotel with a difference. The latest Monocle report takes you on a tour trough the hotel and its great communication. It reminds me a lot of the concept behind citizenM, but with a twist. Capsule hotels are a pretty popular style of hotel here in Japan. Obviously since Japan is so small, space is limited. To solve this problem, some of the brightest minds in Japan gathered and decided that the best idea was to make people sleep in tiny little boxes stacked up on top of each other. But seriously though, I personally think that Capsule Hotels are pretty practical. I stayed at one called 9Hours, and it was really great. Everything was provided for you, and it was actually quite comfortable. I recommend it. Hopefully one day Capsule Hotels will become more popular around the globe, because I think that they are pretty cool.

999: 9 Hours, 9 Persons, 9 Doors - Nintendo DS - ChunSoft - Aksys Today I will be reviewing 999: 9 Hours, 9 Persons, 9 Doors for the Nintendo DS. All I can say is, play this game NAO! It is pure awesomeness in a small DS cartridge. 999 is a visual novel, puzzle and point and click adventure game wrapped into one fantastic package. Hopefully Aksys will localize more of these wonderful games! The video review is (arguably) my best work so far. I am really getting the hang of editing slideshows and adding in graphics to the gameplay videos with layers. Now I have to learn to do some nice swipe effects and text overlays and we have superb videos! Let me know what you thought of the review! Apologies for the late upload! Way to long without being able to save during the race so I used a high powered car, got 50 laps or so ahead then took about a 1 hour break and went back. You still have a good 5 or 6 hours to actually race. The winning car is HKS CT230R 08. For this race you should get 3 or 4 cars.

9 Hours 2 Minutes Painter 12 Intuos4 Large The recording excludes the time I took between breaks. In fact, I had 9 separate recordings for this as I've spread it out doing about 1 hour of painting a day across 2 weeks. So don't be mistaken that I've sat in front of my computer for a full 9 hours without lifting my butt. Haha. I would love to indulge in the painting process for that amount of duration, but I just don't have the stamina to do that. As I proceed, I slowly take on more and more challenging task. This time round, I attempted to draw 5 subjects in one painting. It's time consuming, yes, but it's also very rewarding to see how far I can stretch myself. Spending 9 hours on one painting is by far my personal record. One reason for making such video is for myself to relook into my painting habit/style. For many times, I couldn't grasp my subject, and have to paint over several times. I hope to cut down this wasted time as much as possible. I don't use clone painting technique, as I only use eyeing method. (Similar to tradition painting style) Some videos on the net you might find artist demonstates clone painting. Though some didn't explicitly announce it, you might notice that their subjects could come through like a picture with fewer brush strokes. The most obvious advantage of such painting videos would be that they do not have to worry about choosing the correct colours or painting at the correct spot as each stroke they make is simply just bringing out the <b>...</b>
