Powered by www.eurovision.tv Rona Nishliu is not only a famous pop singers, she is also a devoted experimental jazz musician. She won the honour of representing Albania in the Eurovision Song Contest at the second attempt, and she will sing Suus in Baku. Rona Nishliu was born in Mitrovica. Already as a high school graduate, she became known for her appearance in the talent show "Ethet & Krasta Show" which was held in Tirana during 2004. Music remains her passion. She took part in Festivali i Këngës, which is the Albanian national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest, in 2004 together with Teuta Kurti and Vesa Luma, and the trio was awarded the first junior prize. Even though Rona Nishliu is known for being a pop singer in Albania, Kosovo, Macedonia and Montenegro, she is actually a devoted experimental jazz musician, too. Her interpretation is characterized with nuances of soul music influences as well. Her vocal range and interpretative power are her strongest points. Humanitarian work is an important field of action for Rona Nishliu. As a student she organized humanitarian concerts in Kosovo, and in 2009 she took part as a guest lecturer in the UNDP activity on Awareness Raising for the Importance of Volunteerism for Youngsters in Vushtri. Apart from that, she actively supports people with Autism, and she is a chairperson of the Institute for Sustainability and Development of Youth in Kosovo.

This is an old albanian partisan song illustrated with pictures of the heroic war of the Albanian partisans during WWII in Albania, Greece, Kosovo and Macedonia (areas were Albanian partisans fought). Since 1990's chauvinist serbian and greek anti-albanian propaganda are trying to re-write history while attempting to dusk the memory of a glorious past of the Albanian people, connected to the anti-fascist resistance and its heroic war. Anti-albanian propagandists want to create the idea that the Albanians, this people of martyrs in the war against the fascism, were in fact collaborators with the invaders. This way, serbs and greeks would justify their fascist-like genocide against Albanians in the territories they occupied before the war. THIS IS A COMPLETE LIE. We are not dead yet and we preserve alive the memories of our parents and grandparents who took part and some of them gave their blood in this war. Horrible crimes of the greek and serb governments against Albanians in these countries immediately after the war, cannot be exculpated with the mere justification that "albanians were collaborators with the fascism", because no matter how loud they scream this, IT IS NOT TRUE. The whole anti-fascist world recognizes the contribute of the Albanian people and Albanian communists before, during and after WWII. Albanian partisans were those who in fact liberated all alone, without any foreign help, not only Albania (november 1944) but also Kosovo, western Macedonia, part of <b>...</b>

20 Albanian Islamic Radicals Arrested for Smilkovci Murders Tuesday, 01 May 2012 Macedonian Ministry of Interior has found the murderers of the five persons near a lake in the Skopje village of Smilkovci. Twenty ethnic Albanians from Skopje, followers of Radical Islam have been arrested, majority of them are Macedonian citizens. Interior Minister Gordana Jankuloska said Tuesday that the Ministry of Interior will file criminal charges of terrorism and murder against them. Based on material evidence from the Ministry of Interior they claim that they are the perpetrators of grisly murders of five innocent persons. Some of the arrested persons are directly involved in the murders near Smilkovci village, Jankuloska said and there are persons for whom there is no data that they were on the crime site. Large quantity of weapons were discovered in the police raid of 26 facilities on the territory of the city of Skopje and its surroundings, in the police action dubbed "Monster" in which 800 policemen, Security and Counterintelligence Bureau and Bureau for Public Security participated. Also literature was found which points out to ideological affiliation of these persons and other items, which could be used or were used in conducting crime. It is now investigated whether any of the seized weapons were used in the Smilkovci killings. Jankuloska said that main motive most probably was their idea of killing in the name of Radical Islam and the goal was to create feeling of fear among <b>...</b>
