See servo failures, UBEC testing, and HK Orange Receiver Range tests vs Spektrum AR-500 Receiver while Range testing with my Turkey Baster Can. Then see the full range testing in the car. Typical Range of the Spektrum DX6i Transmitter is approx 3000 feet and with that test it resulted with the following relative formula. 5 feet from the can equaled approx 480 feet 10 feet from the can equaled approx 793 feet 15 feet from the can equaled approx 1156 feet 20 feet from the can equaled approx 1780 feet All 3 of these HK orange park flyer receivers are flyable, based on these results. However, I do not have faith in the Hobby King Turnigy servos for this plane, so reverted to some good old (made in USA Kraft KPS 15 II Servos) The HK UBEC has been working flawlessly, however a 4.8 v receiver battery would be less likely to fail than this UBEC using a 7.4 LiPo. A Demo of a resetting reactive steel target. Target and Splash plate are made of 3/8 AR500 steel. Targets are available in 8, 10, and 12 inch plates. Splash plate is designed to protect the target stand and counter weight and deflect bullets into the ground. All firearms safety procedures apply. Targets are not to be shot at no closer that 100 yards. FMJ, AP, or steel core bullets are not reccomended as they will pit the steel and make the target unsafe. If used properly these targets will have many years of use. Calibers tested on this target are as follows. 223 remington 69 grain matchking, 308 winchester 168 grain A-Max, and 300 winchester short mag 168 grain matchking........... Shooting AR500 12x12....old crappy plate with non armor piercing walmart 7.62x54R 154 Grain Wolf Ammunition. M44 Mosin Nagant. I didnt think it would even nick the plate, so i shut the camera off....but there were 5 nice clean .30 caliber holes in the plate. you can hear that there isnt a ring but a metallic pop that was just as loud but no ring, didnt notice it shooting but can definitley hear it on tape........so i guess I should of checked them with a magnet. My mistake. oh well plate steel is cheap at work.

I had the target at 315y, but the ground slopes away making the target hard to see through the grass, and the ground topography also muffles the sound of the steel getting hit. Marlin Lever Action Playlist www.youtube.com This is a 5 inch AR500 steel target I bought off ebay for about $25 with shipping. It is 3/8 thick. I shot it with My Marlin 1894 carbine at 25 yards to see if it would cause any damage. I was using a Remington UMC 125gr semi-jacketed hollowpoint. These are fairly hot, I chrony-ed them are about 2100 FPS in My Marlin Carbine. The shallow ring was probably from the jacket. I plan on getting a few more since it looks like they will hold up good to pistol and mild rifle rounds.

just showing the impact results on my 6x2" ar500 steel target, after having shot it with my marlin 1895 gbl with two kinds of 45-70 ammunition. one was hornady leverevolution 325g ballistic tipped factory loads, and some handloaded 350g hornady round nosed jacketed sst interlocked bullets with 50g of h4198...end result at 50 yards for me anyways, is tighter group with factory load but harder hits from the hand loads...please feel free to rate, subscribe, and click on ads!

I was shooting an old rifle I got when I was 13 years old. Thousands of rounds have been fired from this old gun, and it still works like new. Its an Marlin Glenfield Mod 60.
