During the Texas A&M Foundation's annual Legacy Society Gala at the Gilliam Indoor Track Stadium, nearly 150 students burst into seemingly spontaneous song and dance. The surprise performance began when a member of A&M's Percussion Studio (dressed as a waiter), tripped in front of a crowd of nearly 500 guests during a speech by Texas A&M Foundation President Ed Davis '67. During the Texas A&M Foundation's annual Legacy Society Gala at the Gilliam Indoor Track Stadium, nearly 150 students burst into seemingly spontaneous song and dance. The surprise performance began when a member of A&M's Percussion Studio (dressed as a waiter), tripped in front of a crowd of nearly 500 guests during a speech by Texas A&M Foundation President Ed Davis '67. Performers included A&M Singing Cadets, Percussion Studio, Voices of Praise, the Texas Aggie Dance Team, Maroon Coats and several members of the National Championship A&M Women's Basketball team. This video is of Aggie Bonfire 1988. The outhouse for this Bonfire was constructed by members of the BQ Class of '91, including yours truly. The uniqueness of this outhouse is that we put our signature on it, unbeknownst to the Red Pots who were in charge of building Bonfire. There had been a rivalry between these two groups for many years. We decided that this year, it wasn't just their Bonfire, we had something to do with it as well..! If they were not willing to give us credit in participating, well, we would just take it... And we did..! Here is the video proof..! The four individuals who were chosen to construct the outhouse were; Jeff Shea, A-CO, Michael Percifield, B-CO, Ron Morrison, A-BATT, and Barry Brackebusch, B-BATT. We decided that we were going to build this outhouse to where it would last, because we had a surprise up our sleeve... We began construction under total secrecy in Scott Ridgeway's garage in Bryan. As the walls were going up, we took a 3/4 inch sheet of plywood, laid it across some saw horses and began to rout out a giant BQ on the back side of the board. We then filled the 2" wide by 5/8" deep channel with a mixture of saltpeter and sugar. then we covered it with duct tape and then multiple layers of paper mache, which hardened to feel like a solid wall. When the flames reached the outhouse atop Bonfire, the paper mache ignited which instantly spread to the saltpeter mixture and quickly burned through the remaining 1/8 inch of plywood <b>...</b>

The Utah State Aggies under the direction of Gary Andersen Utah State Football reaches new heights. Here are a few highlights. After a 5 win streak at the end of the season the Aggies were offered a spot in the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl against Ohio Bobcats. Some of the highlights are from games played versus Auburn Tigers, Oklahoma Sooners, BYU Cougars and Texas A&M. Utah State Aggies filled these seasons with interceptions, touchdowns and heavy tackles. Go Aggies! Credit to the USU video crew. US Senator Kay Bailey Hutchison (R-Texas) today spoke on the Senate floor to congratulate the Texas A&M Women's basketball on winning the 2011 Women's NCAA Basketball National Championship. The Lady Aggies defeated Notre Dame 76-70 in the April 5 championship game. Senator Hutchison along with Senator Cornyn offered a resolution honoring the team and their accomplishment.
