This is the beginning of the first half of "Amaterasu", filmed in May 2006 in Tokyo. Tamasaburo directed the performance and co-staged with the Taiko group Kodo. He plays Amaterasu (sun goddess) while Fujimoto Yoshikazu plays Amaterasu's brother Susanoo (god of sea and storm). Since he was the first community member to find it as far as I'm aware (It was believed to be Zero only and impossible outside of the corner though) and I wanted to make sure he was cool with me posting my lab findings. Someone else posted a vid up a day or 2 ago though, so I guess it doesn't matter now. TECHNICAL INFO! WOW!! : This works because the 'slash' special hits meaty. Much like Able's infinite in SSFIV but much, much, much easier. Also, the loop contains no normals, f+H is considered a special like CapAm's ShieldSlash, meaning it can, technically, always combo into itself.

Although I've been largely moving away from doing fan art, I found myself doodling this in the waning hours of Otakon 2009, while waiting for my ride, and it was a short event playback so I figured I'd upload it. Okami is my favorite video game of all time. So here's Ammy. It does now though. - Amaterasu can change weapons in the air. - Its not shown in the video, but Ammy's weapons changes in the air follow the 3 air actions rule. So you can change them thrice in a row before falling down. Amaterasu (Okami) - Idle Animation
Made the video to test out GraphicsGale (All my previous videos were recording MS Paint, hence the fancy new windows and such) and to see if I could record myself making an animation while actually showing pieces of the animation while I went along. Don't expect anything too spectacular from it! The subject matter itself, ie Amaterasu, was requested by a friend of mine. Normally I'd make a Fire Emblem mug but Amaterasu is not exactly made for that. Also I want to do some more non-Fire Emblem mug stuff, so yeah. I ended up realizing a lot of things, mainly that I can't animate fire yet! I'll have to do some practice animations I guess. I did learn a bit about wolf anatomy though, so it wasn't a bust. I kept the animation simple to minimize the time spent on it, since this was basically a stress reliever while I go through exams. Hopefully I can record some more interesting animations in the future. I'm not going to say much about this since I think the video explains itself well enough. Total time taken was 3 hours. This combo is just super cool! One stance switch (for style) before going into 3 exchange cancel whiffs. She is not the original white, because once you beat the game you have the option to change her appearance. **Edit- I've decided to delete these stupid "realistic Ammy" cutscenes when I have time, and just upload all of them with normal Ammy.
