Amy Krouse Rosenthal is a person who likes to make things. She writes books for grown-ups, such as the alphabetized memoir "Encyclopedia of an Ordinary Life" (named one of the top 10 memoirs of the decade); she writes books for children, such as "Little Pea", "Spoon", "Duck! Rabbit!", and "The Wonder Book"; she makes interactive films like "The Beckoning of Lovely", "The Money Tree", and "The Kindness Thought Bubble"; and she creates weekly missions for the universe to play along with via www.MissionAmyKR.com -- a project in conjunction with Chicago's NPR affiliate.
