Andy Griffith Show Pilot Missing Scene

This is the scene which was cut from the syndication print that were used on the Andy Griffith and Make Room for Daddy dvds. In the previous scene, Widow Perkins had explained to Andy why she was not able to pay her taxes. She had rented a suit for her late husband to wear at his funeral with the plan that the suit would be removed before burial. But he was buried in it and she has been paying 50 cents a day rent for the last 2 years. In this scene Andy confronts the storekeeper who rented the suit.

The car could use a good wash too. Also, sawdust was found in the differential and transmission. Ellen Corby (June 3, 1911 -- April 14, 1999) was an American actress. She is most widely remembered for the role of "Grandma Esther Walton" on the CBS television series The Waltons, for which she won three Emmy Awards. Andy Griffith Show song and pictures. Well, now, take down your fishin' pole and meet me at The Fishin' Hole, We may not get a bite all day, but don't you rush away. What a great place to rest your bones and mighty fine for skippin' stones, You'll feel fresh as a lemonade, a-settin' in the shade. Whether it's hot, whether it's cool, oh what a spot for whistlin' like a fool. What a fine day to take a stroll and wander by The Fishin' Hole, I can't think of a better way to pass the time o' day. We'll have no need to call the roll when we get to The Fishin' Hole, There'll be you, me, and Old Dog Trey, to doodle time away. If we don't hook a perch or bass, we'll cool our toes in dewy grass, Or else pull up a weed to chaw, and maybe set and jaw. Hangin' around, takin' our ease, watchin' that hound a-scratchin' at his fleas. DVD: www.amazon.com thefilmarchive.org March 11, 1963 - Aunt Bee's Medicine Man After worrying about her age and health, Aunt Bee falls for the sales pitch of a fast-talking medicine man and his "Indian Elixir." Barney tries to make himself look like a publicity photo of Rock Hudson. This episode features Mayberry's first actual death: Augusta "Gussie" Finch at 10:30 AM. Aunt Bee gives the Taylor' address as 332 Maple Road. Colonel Harvey's "Indian Elixir" is 85% alcohol. Andy says Aunt Bee is such a teetotaler that she will not allow even a fruitcake in the house, on account of "a brother she had." Beatrice Taylor (commonly known as Aunt Bee) is a fictional character from the 1960s American television sitcom The Andy Griffith Show. The show was televised on CBS from October 3, 1960, until April 1, 1968. The character migrated to the spinoff Mayberry RFD (1968--1971) when The Andy Griffith Show ended its run. Note that though she was the aunt of Sheriff Andy Taylor, virtually every character in Mayberry called her "Aunt Bee", regardless of whether they were related to her or not. Aunt Bee is the paternal aunt of widower Sheriff Andy Taylor and great-aunt to his son Opie Taylor. In the premiere episode of The Andy Griffith Show, "The New Housekeeper", Aunt Bee returns to Mayberry after a five-year sojourn in Morgantown, West Virginia, when Andy's housekeeper Rose marries and leaves his house. With the new health care law, more good things are coming -- free checkups, lower prescription costs, and better ways to protect us and Medicare from fraud. See what else is new -- I think you're going to like it. Mitch McConnell: It's going to take more than slick taxpayer-funded ads to convince skeptical seniors that cutting a half-trillion dollars from Medicare is good for them. And seniors are right to be skeptical: they were also told that if they liked their plan, they could keep it. Yet now we know that millions of seniors will lose the Medicare Advantage benefits they have and like as a result of the Democrat health care bill. Americans never wanted this bill, and they're reminded every day why they opposed it in the first place.

The Andy Griffith Show - Opie And The Spoiled Kid 1/4

Opie has a new friend, a kid who moved to Mayberry from Raleigh. This new friend, Arnold Winkler, is one of the most spoiled, obnoxious brats that you could ever meet. Opie gets a crash course in "The World According To Arnold Winkler" that doesn't sit well with Andy. The ill-bred Arnold is every parent's nightmare but now he's run into the wrong Sheriff. I think there's an Arnold Winkler type in every neighborhood and one Arnold Winkler is one too many. The script for this episode is Andy Griffith at his best. Andy dispenses fatherly wisdom in heaping doses and it just makes so much sense. This is just one aspect of the program that so endeared "The Andy Griffith Show" to its viewers. There is plenty of great dialogue in this episode. For example, Andy tells Opie he can't have a bigger allowance and has to keep cleaning the garage for the quarter a week he does get. Andy explains that it's a good feeling to be rewarded for work that you've done and that the older Opie gets the bigger that good feeling will be. The following conversation follows: Andy: "Well, ah you just, you just think about that for awhile." Opie: "Do I have to?" Andy: "Don't you wanna think about it?" Opie: "It makes me kind a sad." This is really an hilarious episode and wonderful family entertainment. One of the best in my opinion. I do apologize for the poor video quality. This is how it downloaded; it's just a bad print and the introduction and most of the closing is missing. What a shame. This <b>...</b>
